Southeastern Equipment was founded in 1957, and they offer over 30 different lines of new, used, and rental large equipment for dozens of industries, along with full in-shop and field technician service and a dedicated parts department.
Southeastern Equipment sought out Switchbox to help assist them with their current website development. They were currently using an outdated website with old imagery and an unreliable navigation system. Their website also had an outdated site management for updating all new, used, and rental equipment that was cumbersome and slow for administrative staff.
After hearing what Southeastern Equipment’s issues were, Switchbox proposed a solution that were to move them over to WordPress 5.0. This would give Southeastern a way for easily updating their content management, and page creation for their marketing website. Switchbox also decided on Ruby on Rails to assist Southeastern Equipment’s management to be able to update all of the new, used, and rental equipment, data management, and API requests.
The result for Southeastern Equipment is a completely brand new site with updated navigation, imagery, and a streamlined integration into equipment management. This has given their administrative team a more robust system to manage, and an easier to use system to update their page and content management for marketing purposes.
