Need more storage space?

Free us storage space the Switchbox wayRecently we have been using DropBox for shared file storage within our company. What’s the problem? We only have 2 gigs of storage for the whole company. The other problem is that we work with graphic designers who like to send 100 meg photoshop files. So anyway, recently we started running out of storage and needed to delete things. We looked around and found a tool called WinDirStat which visually shows you how your storage is being allocated for a drive or even a folder. It makes it easy to find huge files and delete them quickly. We purged about 20 files (out of several thousand) and freed up 800 megs. If you are interested in using it yourself just Google WinDirStat and you should find it.

Whoops, Joel is a micro-manager.

Okay, I’m (Joel) actually 6′ 4″ tall so I’m not exactly micro but I am a micro manager. I know it but I still do it. Check this article out if you are a micro-manager or if you are micro-managed. If you work here at Switchbox accept my apologize. http://www.leadershipcourseware.com/blog/general/7-steps-to-overcome-the-addiction-of-micromanagement/
